Trees are the answer!
Ottawa, IL
November 3, 2007 12:00PM to 01:00PM
Event Description:
This site is the historic Washington Square in Ottawa, Illinois. In this square in 1858, Abraham Lincoln debated Judge Stephen Douglas about the merits of slavery and the pending civil conflict that was facing this great nation. Although Lincoln lost the election for Senator that year, his message from that day would later carry him to the White House.
Now, we are facing a similar dilema with dire consequences. It is our duty and responsibility to all of the future generations who would follow us, to come and learn more about the effects of global warming and what you can do to help stop it.
If not for yourself, do it for your kids.
