The FUSF Green Committee braved the tail end of hurricane Noel on Saturday to haul out two large truckloads of trash from the Del Carte Open Space in Franklin, MA. All of the trash was sorted and recycled restoring this beautiful preserve to its original beauty.

It was 43 degrees with a whipping rain, but everyone on our committee showed up to clean. Though we were chilled to the bone, our spirits were high and the only complaints were about the amount of trash left behind by others. Big thanks to our group and to all the other groups who organized today!
